Help close America's AI readiness gap.
AI Essentials builds sector-specific, scenario-based AI training that puts workers and students inside the workflows they'll actually face. Over 350,000 learners across 31 states have trained with us through their schools, colleges, and workforce organizations. We're a small team doing work that lands in real classrooms within weeks, and we're hiring people who want their fingerprints on it.

No corporate ladder theater. Just meaningful work, close to the mission, with a team that moves fast and ships things students actually use.
Your work reaches students fast

You work directly with leadership
There are no layers here. You'll be in the room where decisions get made, shaping how a growing edtech company sells, serves, and builds. Your ideas get heard on day one.
A market that's just waking up
Every school, college, and workforce program in America is asking the same question right now: how do we prepare people for AI? We have an answer they trust, and the ground floor is still wide open.
Mission you can say out loud
We believe every worker deserves to enter the AI era with the skills to thrive in it. In every sector, in every zip code, at every stage of their career. The people we reach are the ones the AI economy is most likely to leave behind. That's exactly why we exist.
Open roles
Five openings across marketing, sales, and customer success, plus two internships for people early in their careers who want real responsibility.
About the role
AI Essentials has traction with schools, colleges, and workforce organizations across 31 states, and the demand curve is steep. What we need now is a marketing leader who can turn that traction into a repeatable engine: positioning, content, campaigns, conference presence, and a pipeline that grows without heroics. You'll own marketing end to end and work directly with the founder to set strategy.
What you'll do
- Own brand positioning and messaging across K-12, higher education, and workforce audiences
- Build and run demand generation: email, content, webinars, partner success stories, and conference campaigns
- Turn institutional wins into marketing assets, including case studies, impact reports, and co-presented sessions
- Develop the grant-cycle marketing calendar so campaigns land when institutional budgets are in motion
- Set the metrics, own the funnel, and report on what's working with total honesty
What we're looking for
- 7+ years in B2B marketing with at least 3 in a leadership role
- Experience selling to education, government, or grant-funded institutions
- Strong writing chops and an instinct for plain, human language over jargon
- Comfort building from scratch with limited resources and full ownership
Nice to have
- Familiarity with federal and state education or workforce funding streams
- Experience marketing certifications, credentials, or curriculum products
About the role
This is not a cold-grind SaaS sales job. Our buyers are program directors, deans, and workforce leaders with funding earmarked for AI readiness, and many of them come to us. Your job is to run a consultative sales motion from first conversation through signed agreement, helping institutions match our curriculum to their program objectives. You'll close deals that change what people learn.
What you'll do
- Own the full sales cycle for institutional accounts, from discovery call to signed license
- Run tailored demos of our simulation-based curriculum and readiness platform
- Help institutions map AI Essentials to their funding sources and reporting requirements
- Work grant deadlines and fiscal-year timelines to keep deals moving
- Represent AI Essentials at education conferences and partner events
What we're looking for
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience with a consultative style
- Comfort selling to committees and navigating institutional procurement
- Genuine curiosity about education and the people who run these programs
- Clear, warm communication, in writing and on calls
Nice to have
- Experience selling into higher ed, K-12, or workforce development
- Existing relationships in K-12, higher ed, or workforce communities
About the role
Our partners are program directors and educators, not IT departments. When an institution launches AI Essentials, someone needs to make sure their staff feel confident, their learners complete certifications, and their outcomes data is ready when reporting season arrives. That someone is you. This role sits at the center of everything: onboarding, adoption, renewals, and the partner stories that fuel our growth.
What you'll do
- Onboard new partner institutions and train program staff on the platform and curriculum
- Monitor student progress and completion data, and step in early when a cohort stalls
- Prepare pre and post assessment outcome reports partners can hand straight to their funders and accreditors
- Own renewals and expansion conversations with existing partners
- Gather partner feedback and champion it in product and curriculum decisions
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in customer success, account management, program coordination, or education
- Patience and warmth working with non-technical educators
- Comfort with data: dashboards, completion metrics, and simple reporting
- Organized follow-through across many accounts at once
Nice to have
- Experience inside a school district, college, or workforce organization
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and student data
About the role
You'll help us find and reach the institutions that should know about AI Essentials: school districts, community colleges, universities, and workforce organizations. This is real pipeline work with real tools, and you'll sit in on live sales conversations to see how deals actually happen.
What you'll do
- Research and build prospect lists of institutions and their decision makers
- Draft outreach emails and help run campaigns to program directors and deans
- Keep the CRM clean, current, and useful
- Sit in on discovery calls and demos, and debrief with the team afterward
- Track funding announcements and education initiatives that create sales opportunities
What we're looking for
- Current student or recent graduate interested in sales, business, or education
- Strong writing and comfort doing internet research that goes past page one
- Self-direction: you'll get real ownership, not busywork
What you'll walk away with
- A working knowledge of B2B education sales and institutional procurement
- Portfolio-ready outreach campaigns and prospecting projects
- A reference who watched you do the actual job
About the role
Our certifications are built from interactive lessons, simulations, and assessments across six sector tracks: healthcare, business, manufacturing, technology, education, and law. This internship puts you inside that production engine. You'll help publish, quality-check, and organize course content, support partner-facing materials, and learn how AI-assisted content production works from the inside.
What you'll do
- Publish and organize lessons, simulations, and assessments in our learning platform
- Quality-check course content for accuracy, formatting, reading level, and brand consistency
- Help produce partner-facing materials like success story pages and program reports
- Maintain the content library so everything is versioned, findable, and current
- Test interactive simulations the way a student would, and flag what breaks
What we're looking for
- Current student or recent graduate in education, communications, instructional design, or a related field
- Sharp eye for detail: typos, broken layouts, and inconsistencies bother you
- Curiosity about AI tools and how digital curriculum gets made
What you'll walk away with
- Real experience in digital curriculum operations and edtech content production
- Published work you can point to inside live certification courses
- Fluency with AI-assisted content workflows employers are hiring for right now
